Anthony Hensley led a balanced attack with three goals and Nick Pisko, Joey Jones, Matt Rambo, Rich Rambo and Matt Figueroa each added two goals to lead Abington (3-1) to a 15-11 win over visiting Boyertown Monday in non-league boys’ lacrosse.
Tyler Furman led the Bears (2-3) with four goals while Taylor Acree and Matt Salvetti added two goals and two assists each. Matt Straface made 14 saves.
Methacton 11, Phoenixville 4
Ryan Kelly and Cody Rodgway each scored three goals and Eli Miller had two goals while winning 18 of 19 face-offs as the Warriors earned the PAC-10 win.
Gabe Ferraro had a strong game at long stick midfielder and Scott Markle was key both in goal and as a close defensemen, creating transition throughout the game.
Spring-Ford 15, Pottsgrove 1
Drew Thomas had three goals and two assists as the Rams improved to 7-0 overall and 4-0 in the PAC-10 with the win. Brian Bock, Paul Major and Matt Glowacki each added two goals for Spring-Ford.
Neshaminy 15, Archbishop Ryan 7
Chris Brady scored seven goals and added three assists while Jimmy Roessner had four goals and three assists to lead the Falcons to a non-conference win over Ryan. James Rambo added a goal and five assists for Neshaminy and Timmy Taylor had four goals for the Raiders.
Bishop Shanahan 13, Lansdale Catholic 8
Mike Thompson netted seven goals and Keegan Lawton had four goals and two assists while Jake Farrell anchored the defense
Chris Cordivari scooped eight groundballs for the Eagles.
Chuck Karr led LC with two goals and two assists.
Souderton 11 CB South 9
Souderton won its third league game in a row behind six goals from Ridge Schultz and strong games at midfield by Nick Judge (seven groundballs) and Graham Gedman (three GBs).
Brad Sawhill played solid defense for Souderton (6-1, 3-1), which also received two goals from J.P. Carroll.
Sun Valley 13, Interboro 5
Bobby Clemens had four goals and five assists, Kyle Gillam had five goals and an assist and Frankie Jackson added two goals and three assists as the Vanguards topped the Bucs in a non-league game. Tyler Brun had 13 saves for Sun Valley and Adam Moore made 13 saves for the Bucs.
Octorara 3, Devon Prep 2
The Tide dropped a tight game despite goals from Pat Robbins and Andrew Fletcher and 15 saves for Zac Chunglo.
Wissahickon 18, Norristown 2
Garret Rosiek had six goals and two assists and Nick Lucchesi added four goals and three assists as the Trojans improved to 2-0 in the Suiburban One American.
