The Lacrosse Official Cadet class will be held at Great Valley Middle School starting Tuesday, November 2.
The program will run for eight Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m. All sessions will be in Room 102.
The target audience is adults and teens interested in becoming a boys’ lacrosse official or returning officials looking to review and develop their skills. New Cadets are not required to be US Lacrosse members or KLOA members in order to participate in the training.
The Cadet class will prepare students to take the US Lacrosse National Test, as well as the PIAA exam.
The cost of the program is $30.00, which includes the 2010 NFHS Rule book and US Lacrosse Level 1 Training Manual. Class confirmation will be e-mailed in late October.
Current KLOA Officials that have previously taken the class may audit the course at no charge. Should these individuals want the 2010 training guide, it is available for purchase as noted above.
