Conestoga senior defenseman Casey Ikeda and Haverford School junior attackman Carl Walrath have been named to the First-Team All-ESPN RISE boys’ lacrosse team.
Ikeda – a US Lacrosse All-American – helped lead the Pioneers to their first Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) championship and has been selected to play in the Under Armour All-American game.
Walrath had 35 goals and 48 assists for the Fords this year, helping the team share the Inter-Ac League championship with Malvern Prep while winning the Inter-Ac Invitational. Walrath, a US Lacrosse All-American, has committed to Virginia.
La Salle junior attackman Kevin Forster was named a Second-Team pick. Forster, who has committed to Maryland and was a US Lacrosse All-American, led the Explorers into the PIAA finals.
