Colgate sophomore defender Beasley Hays (Radnor) and Louisville senior attack Bergan Foley (Gwynedd Mercy Academy) have been named to the inaugural Inside Lacrosse Women’s All-Name Team.
Hays, who helped Radnor win the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) championship in 2009, was a First Team Pick. Hays emerged as a starter for Colgate as a freshman and collected 24 Groundballs, 15 caused turnovers and 13 draw controls.
Foley led the nation in Division I in goals per game (4.59) and total goals (78) last year when she earned All-West Region Second team by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association. She has 206 goals in her three-year career.
Also, American junior midfielder Bernadette Maher was listed on the “All-Old Lady Names Team.” Maher scored nine goals in 16 games last year.
