Haverford School’s Conor Kelly has been named the No. 3 scholastic rising senior goalie in the nation in a “Top 20 On the Rise” feature story by ESPN Rise website.

Kelly helped the Fords finish 20-4 and claim a share of the Inter-Ac League championship

Haverford School's Conor Kelly is the No. 3 goalie in ESPN Rise's "On The Rise" feature

as well as the Inter-Ac Invitational crown in 2010. Kelly, who has committed to National runner-up Notre Dame, was a First Team Inter-Ac League pick and also competed in the Under Armour Underclassmen games.

Recently, he was listed as the No. 43 Rising Senior Young Gun by Inside Lacrosse.

ESPN Rise said Kelly “has a very good sense of where the ball is at all times. His head is always on a swivel and is making sure his defenseman is doing their jobs. He has quick hands and is aggressive when the ball is free on the crease.”

The selections were made based on evaluation from the 2010 season as well as feedback from camps and coaches.

The No. 1 goalie is Harvard commit Jake Gambitsky of Wantagh, N.Y. The No. 2 pick was Maryland-bound Kyle Bernlohr of Western Reserve Academy, (Hudson, Ohio).

ESPN Rise will be posting features on the top 20 at all positions over the next four weeks, capped off by its Top 50.
