Stephenie LaGrossa, an Archbishop Prendergast graduate who starred in lacrosse at Monmouth University, has been chosen to compete for the third time in the popular series Survivor in the upcoming Survivor 20: Heroes vs. Villains all-star show.
The season begins on Thursday, Feb. 11 on CBS.
LaGrossa, 29, one of 10 chosen to compete for the Heroes tribe, was a contestant in Survivor: Palau (10) and Survivor: Guatemala (11). She was the runner-up in Guatemala.
LaGrossa, of Glenolden, graduated from Prendergast in 1998, and briefly attended Temple University before transferring to Monmouth in West Long Branch, N.J. She was a four-year starting varsity lacrosse player at Monmouth, a multiple Northeast Conference All-Conference and Academic Honor Roll selection, and captain of the team in her senior year at Monmouth.
