Registration continues for the LXM Pro 610 event on Aug. 28 at Radnor High

Tickets cost $20 and will jump slightly to $25 after Aug. 25. They are $25 at the door. VIP passes (online only) are $75 and allow admission to the VIP lounge and free food as well as VIP parking. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.

The LXM Pro tour, founded by Radnor graduates Max and Xander Ritz as well as fellow Maryland alums Scott and Craig Hochstadt and Johns Hopkins grad Kyle Harrison, was initially created to help promote lacrosse in non-traditional hotbeds. This will be the first event on the East Coast as the founders seek to expand to other markets.

The LXM events feature a mixture of pro lacrosse, live music, youth clinics on many skills and interaction between lacrosse fans in a carnival-type atmosphere. There also will be numerous vendors.

The Philly event (doors open at 2 p.m.) will start with the fan experience and youth clinics run by the LXM pros at 2:15 p.m. The D.C. rapper, Wale, performs at 3 p.m. and a pro game kicks off at approximately 5 p.m. There will be numerous Philly players in the game (see roster below).

“It’s an event, not a game,” said Harrison, who led the Blue Jays to the 2005 NCAA title. “Fans get to meet pros and there are free clinics. After that there is a game and a concert. Vendors are there all day long. It’s a great atmosphere; a festival-like atmosphere.”

Team New Balance features Philly’s Ryan Cranston (Lynchburg College/Henderson High), Todd Fairlie (Widener/Penncrest), Scott Kahoe (Syracuse/Radnor), Brett Moyer (Hofstra/Ridley) and Steven Holmes (Virginia/Germantown Academy) and assistant coach Brian Dougherty (Maryland/Episcopal Academy/Penn assistant coach), who just led Team USA to the FIL championship.

Team Monster features both Ritz brothers (Maryland/Radnor) as well as Michael Colleluori (Hofstra/Ridley). One of Team Monster’s assistant coaches is Brian Samson (Georgetown/Radnor), who recently took Conestoga to the state championship.
