Downingtown West claimed both the “A” and “B” division titles Saturday as 24 teams competed in the 7th annual Brian Houshower Lacrosse Festival.

The event honors the memory of Brian Houshower, a popular student-athlete at Downingtown West who was killed in a car accident seven years ago while a sophomore.
Downingtown West defeated Springfield-Delco, 9-5, to take the “A” crown. Downingtown West topples Penncrest, 6-2, in the “B” Division title game.
Brian’s mother, Joan Houshower-Ferree, gave out the winning t-shirts to the championship teams.
