The Delaware County and Montgomery County Keystone State boys’ lacrosse teams have announced they will hold tryouts for their Sr. teams (for those entering grades 10 to 12).
The Keystone Games will be held Saturday July 31-Sunday, Aug. 1 at State College on the campus of Penn State University. There will be between 12-16 teams throughout the state competing for gold, silver and bronze medals.
Delaware County team tryouts
The Delco tryouts will held June 18, 19 & 20th at Neumann University from 6:30-8:30 p.m. All interested must contact assistant coach Jim Harvey at harveyj@neumann.edu or at 610-675-9189.
Montgomery County team tryouts
Team Montco tryouts will be held at Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School on June 7th and 9th at 6:30 p.m. Approximately 30 team members will be selected for the team. Team Members will compete throughout the summer (June 15th through July 27th) in the Summer Lacrosse League of Southeastern PA (www.sllsepa.com).
These games will be played at various locations throughout Montgomery, Delaware and Chester Counties. Games start at 6:30 p.m. and are always on Tuesday nights. Team MontCo’s home field is centrally located in Montgomery County at Heuser Park in King of Prussia. From the group of 30 Team Members selected to be on the team, the top 22-24 players will be chosen to travel to State College.
