Megan Oczkowski had four goals and two assists and Alyssa Andress and Hayley Oczkowski each had three goals and one assist as Archbishop Wood defeated Little Flower, 19-5, today in the semifinals of the Catholic League girls’ lacrosse playoffs at Archbishop Prendergast.
The win advanced Wood (14-5) into the finals against Archbishop Carroll, a 17-2 winner over Cardinal O’Hara. The Vikings and Patriots will meet for the crown Monday at Prendergast at 5 p.m.
Nicole Hayes added three goals for Wood and Nicole Duca had two goals while Caitlyn McCartney contributed a goal and four assists. Emily Hutson made seven saves in goal.
Chelsey Kada had three goals and Meg Colleen added two for Little Flower.
Archbishop Carroll 17, Cardinal O’Hara 2
Aimee Gennaro, Bernadette Gennaro and Genni Hull each scored twice for the Patriots, who advanced to the league finals and will shoot for their 10th straight crown Monday against Archbishop Wood.
