US Lacrosse is offering a curriculum to schools interested in teaching lacrosse, the nation’s fastest growing sport, in physical education classes.
This comprehensive, easy-to-use, student-centered physical education curriculum provides fast-paced activities that keep students moving and helps encourage higher fitness levels. This is currently the only lacrosse-specific school curriculum available.
US Lacrosse has made it easy to implement this curriculum into current physical education programs. Whether you have a set of physical education soft lacrosse sticks already and just want to bolster your teaching of the sport in your classes, or you are considering introducing lacrosse for the first time, the work is done.
Lessons and activities are planned and aligned with the national standards for physical education, assessments are provided, and each skill is broken down for teachers and players. Visuals and handouts are also already provided. No prior lacrosse knowledge is necessary to effectively use this curriculum.

The comprehensive teacher’s manual contains three 10-day units for Elementary (grades 4-6), Middle School (grades 6-8) and High School (grades 9-12) students. All three grade levels are included in the manual so that teachers may customize and utilize resources from the entire curriculum to meet the unique needs of their students. Curriculum also includes a packet of reproducible masters for each unit.
