Hannah Rudloff, who recently graduated from Penn and was a scholastic All-American at West Chester East, has been named an assistant coach at Marist College.

Red Foxes head coach Laura Campbell announced the signing of Rudloff on Monday morning.

“I’m so grateful to be joining the Marist lacrosse family,” Rudloff said. “I really believe in this program’s potential and Coach Campbell’s vision, and I can’t wait to help the team build on last year’s successes, and again compete for a MAAC championship.”

Over the summer Rudloff participated in the Global Players International Coaching Program, where she planned and coached practices in Austria and Germany. She also introduced the sport to Austrian children.

During her four seasons at the University of Pennsylvania, she was a member of the three-time undefeated Ivy League champions. In 2007 and 2009, the Quakers fell in the national semifinals. Penn advanced as far as the national championship game in 2008.

As an undergraduate she worked extensively coaching camps, including the Penn Quaker and Elite Summer Camps, the All-Star Lacrosse Camps in Atlanta, Ga., the Triple Threat Lacrosse Camps in Mercersburg, Pa., and the Black Bear Lacrosse Camps in West Chester

Rudloff was a member of two Ches-Mont League championship teams, in 2003 and 2004. She was a First-team All-American in 2005. In her four years at Penn, Rudloff collected 14 goals and 14 assists while playing attack.

Marist completed the 2009 season with a record of 12-5, and advanced to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championship game for the third consecutive season. The team set records in wins, consecutive wins, and winning percentage in Campbell’s first season as head coach.
