Pennridge senior attackman Kevin Figaniak has made a verbal commitment to play Division II lacrosse at Wheeling Jesuit University (W.V.).
Figaniak was a Suburban One Continental second-team choice in 2009 when he scored 54 goals for the Rams. In the summer he was a major contributor on a Philly team that stood out at the adidas National Lacrosse Classic.
An Honor Roll student last year, Figaniak was spotted by Wheeling Jesuit at the Top 25 Recruiting camp. Figaniak, who was named Pennridge’s Attack Player of the Year last season, plays for the LB 3 Blue club.
Seniors can sign National Letters of intent during the early-signing period Nov. 11-18.
