Wissahickon senior midfielder Brian Frankenfield has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Dickinson College.

Frankenfield was a third-team All-Suburban One American Conference pick in 2009 when he helped the Trojans finish third in the conference with an overall record of 10-8. He had 15 goals, 27 assists and 101 groundballs and was named the Wissahickon Offensive MVP.

Frankenfield played in the adidas National Lacrosse Classic this summer for the Central PA all-star team, which reached the final day of competition. Also a member of the Twist Black team that reached the quarterfinals at Champ Camp in 2009, he has been named a senior captain for Wissahickon.

Frankenfield was a Suburban One League Scholar-Athlete last year and possesses a 3.76 GPA. He also is heavily involved in community service projects for the Trojans, who were named a Team of the Week recipient in 2009.

At Dickinson, Frankenfield will join fellow Philly senior Will Scott (Emmaus, attackman) at Dickinson.
