LEAPS (Lacrosse, Education, Attitude, Perseverance and Success), a non-profit Philadelphia-based organization, today announced it will hold four free lacrosse camps this summer at brand new turf fields throughout the city of Philadelphia as part of its relationship with the School District of Philadelphia.
LEAPS camps are open to boys and girls ages six to 14 and will provide lacrosse equipment and healthy snacks at no cost. LEAPS Philadelphia camp schedule is as follows:
June 29th – July 2
Germantown
9 am – 12 pm
July 13th – 16
South Philly
9 am – 12 pm
July 20th – 23
Northeast Philly
9 am – 12 pm
July 27th – 30
Gratz
9 am – 12 pm.

LEAPS, founded in 2008 by professional lacrosse players John Christmas (Boston Cannons, Lower Merion graduate) and Eric Gregg (formerly of Philadelphia Barrage, head coach at St. Joseph’s Prep), is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of under served youth throughout the greater Philadelphia area through their participation in the sport of lacrosse. Currently, LEAPS has been impacting the lives ofPhiladelphia youth with free weekly lacrosse clinics and nutritional instruction.
