As lacrosse followers around the nation honor the third anniversary of the death of Nicholas “Head” Colleluori, the HEADstrong Foundation has released a 9-minute informational video on the Nick Colleluori Classic.
The video can be found at this link on You Tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgCX1ItQv1Y
Colleluori died on Nov. 28, 2006 while a student-athlete at Hofstra University following a lengthy battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Colleluori was a standout lacrosse player who graduated from Ridley High.
The video was developed to continue to raise awareness on the growing fight against blood cancer in honor of Colleluori, who himself created the idea of the HEADstrong Foundation while he was ill.
The HEADstrong Foundation has raised more than $1 million for blood cancer research and development and runs dozens of events a year. Today from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Foundation will hold its annual Blood and
