Matt Cherry collected three goals and five assists and Jeff Puckette had three goals and an assist to lead visiting Radnor to a 12-6 non-league victory over Great Valley in boys’ action Tuesday.
Rob Norton had two goals and two assists for the Red Raiders (1-1) and Spencer Lussier had two goals. Cole Yeager and Max Camp added one apiece.
Great Valley (1-1) got three goals from Campbell Armstrong and a goal and two assists from Eric Gartner. Mike McClatchy made 11 saves in goal for Great Valley.
Malvern Prep 7, Arapahoe (Col.) 6, 2OT
Conor Steidle (two goals) scored the game-winner in overtime as the host Friars (1-1) staved off a major challenge from the Colorado power. Malvern Prep led, 6-2, at one point, and allowed three goals in a 90-second span in the final period to allow Arapahoe (1-3) to send it to OT. Steidle took a feed from JK Poirier following a strong clear from Billy Conners on the winning tally.
Also scoring for the Friars (ranked No. 4 in the PA Lacrosse Rankings) were Harte Thompson, Poirier, Mike Dougherty, Ryan Creighton and Andrew Layne. James Connelly was strong on defense, Dom Nappi and Mark Jackson played solid at midfield and Andrew O’Connell had eight saves.
Conestoga 8, Emmaus 6
Austin Rogusky had four goals and an assist to pace the No. 1 Pioneers (2-0) to the win over the host Green Hornets (1-1). Matt Smith added two goals and Paul Mita and Jeff Chu scored once and Pete Zonini made several key saves down the stretch.
Emmaus, which held a 5-3 lead late in the third period, was led by Mic Debellis (two goals), Dan Kiney (two goals), Alex Kuehner (one goal), Tate Klidonas (one goal), Will Scott (one goal), Mike Bender (one goal), and
Dan Kinek (two assists). Hatboro-Horsham 16, Souderton 5
John Rombach jad five goals and two assists and Eddie Coombs had two goals and two assists to lead the Hatters (2-0) to the Suburban One Continental win. Kyle Schwarz added two goals and Greg Cutilli had a goal and three assists while Timmy Newcomb, Cameron Wiernski and Jake Durkin added two goals apiece.
Josh Burke led Souderton (1-1) with two goals and an assist while Lee Stiles, J.P. Carroll and Dan Berret each scored once. Grant Nice turned aside
23 saves for the Big Red. Timmy Kurpiel (10 saves) and Rusty Mower (four saves) handled the goaltending duties for the Hatters and Anthony Agustonelli, Timmy Newcomb and Mike Bobrin paced the defense.
Lansdale Catholic 8, Methacton 2
Jesse Fields and Kyle Davis scored two goals apiece and Chuck Carr, Patrick White, Kyle Plasha and Sean Rooney scored once each and Liam Malley dished five assists for the Crusaders (2-0). LC’s Chris Bray had eight saves.
Upper Moreland 5, Norristown 4
Ryan Christiansen scored the game-winner andscooped three groundballs and Aaron Kim had two goals and four groundballs to lead the Bears (2-0)
to a win in their Suburban One American Conference opener. Kevin Holst had the game-tying goal and six groundballs and Ryan Acuna added a goal andfive groundballs. Max Schubert made 15 saves.
For Norristown, Justin Biesecker had two goals and an assist and Mike Capcino and Shane Franzone each scored once. Mike Malloy registered 14 saves.
Penn Charter 10, Archbishop Wood 9
Joey Sankey and Tyler Early each scored three goals for the Quakers (2-1). Downingtown East 10, Garnet Valley 4 Rocci Pilero had four goals and Shane Sturgis and Kyle Marks each had three to pace the Cougars (3-0). Mike Montella led GV with two goals and Eric Warden had a goal and an assist. Matt Normoyle had 14 saves for Downingtown East and Mason Poli led the defense.
McDonogh 8, Haverford School 1
The Fords fell to 3-2 with the loss to the Baltimore power.
Penncrest 8, Downingtown West 7, OT
Adam Yee (two goals) scored the game-winner and Dan Jones added two goals for the Lions (2-0).
Upper Darby 10, Archbishop Carroll 5
Kevin Fonio scored five goals and Andy mardinley added three for the Royals (2-0). Ryan Flynn had four goals for Carroll.
Ridley 6, Cardinal O’Hara 2
Tyler Johnston pumped in five goals for the Green Raiders (1-1).
West Chester East 12, Lower Merion 5
In a major early-season stunner, the Vikings opened with a most impressive rout of the Aces (1-1), ranked 10th by Phillylacrosse.com and eighth in the PA Lacrosse Rankings.

Tyler Odell had two goals and an assist and Sam lawlor added two goals for EA (2-1). Brit Potter added a goal and three assists and Chase Growney had a goal and two assists.
