Close to 2,000 players on 112 club teams from up and down the East Coast will participate in the 2nd Annual Patriot Games Summer Showcase Saturday and Sunday at two sites in Central Bucks County.

Games will be played at the Herbst Sports Complex in Pipersville and at the Plumstead Christian School campus in Plumsteadville. Both sites are in Plumstead Township, just north of Doylestown.
The tournament, presented by Titan Youth Lacrosse and sponsored this year in part by Defender Mouthguards, will feature dozens of games for U-11, U-13, U-15 and U-17 boys’ teams A and B divisions, all playing at least 5 games in a tournament format.

Local programs participating include Black Bear, Bucks Select, Conestoga, Coventry, Haverford School, LB3, Penn Premier, Philadelphia Fever and Twist. Directors of the event include Chris Bates, the new Princeton men’s lacrosse coach, and Pat Gress, head coach of the Swarthmore College men’s lacrosse team.

Games begin at 8 am Saturday and continue until 8 pm on 12 fields at the two sites. Sunday’s action goes from 8 a.m. to approximately 4 p.m.
