Inside Magazine has tabbed two Inter-Ac League teams in its preseason scholastic boys’ top 25 poll. Malvern Prep is ranked 13th in the country and Haverford School is rated 22nd. Malvern Prep was the 2006 state champion and went 17-5 last year, bowing to La Salle in the state semifinals.

The Fords were 19-5 and won the Inter-Ac title for the ninth time in 10 years before losing to Downingtown-East, 8-7, in the Eastern Pennsylvania Scholastic Lacrosse Association championship.

The No. 1 team in the top 25 poll is Loyola-Blakefield, Md.
