Randy Forster scored four goals and Ryan Eidenshink and Kevin Forster added two goals apiece as host La Salle toppled Garnet Valley, 10-4, Thursday in an Eastern Pennsylvania Scholastic Lacrosse Association (EPSLA) first-round playoff.
The win advances the second-seeded Explorers (27-2) into Wednesday’s quarterfinals against the winner of today’s St. Joseph’s Prep-Conestoga game at Central Bucks West at 6 p.m.
Goalie Niko Amato made nine saves for La Salle, which led, 4-1 at halftime and 8-2 after three quarters. Eric Warden notched two goals and two assists while Evan Babiak had two goals for the Jaguars, who finished 16-7.
