Girls’ roundup: Episcopal Academy wins, 21-12, over Springside School

Freshman Blake McHugh pumped in six goals and Lindsey McManus added three to lead host Episcopal Academy to a 21-12 Inter-Ac League victory over Springside School (3-5, 0-5) Tuesday.
Kelley Moore, Taylor Trimble, Avery Curley, Megan Spagnola and Kate Ivory each added two goals for EA (8-2, 5-0) while goalie Caitlin Powers made 10 stops.

Penn Charter 13, Germantown Academy 11

Brittany Wohler and Nora McGurkin scored three goals apiece as the host Quakers (5-3, 4-3) claimed the Inter-Ac triumph over the Patriots (5-5, 2-4). Kate Henrich, Amanda Jones and Olivia Mann scored three goals each for GA.

Harriton 14, Lower Merion 4

Jess Rothstein scored five goals and added three assists while Chrissy Pasquariello added four goals to lead the visiting Rams (8-4) to the non-league win over the district rival Aces (4-7).

Carli Sukonik added three goals for Harriton while Sam Trudgeon made weight saves. Leah Sach had a goal and an assist for Lower Merion and Cat Sullivan had 12 saves.

Conestoga 15, Penncrest 12

Brooke Campbell pumped in six goals and added two assists while Kaitlin Hildebrand and Christina Fiorentino added three goals each to spark the visiting Pioneers (7-3, 3-2) to the Central League win over the Lions (2-7, 1-4).

Marissa Restaino led Penncrest with three goals. Kim Shoup posted nine saves for Conestoga.

North Penn 20, Council Rock North 9

Abbie Hartman scored six goals and Lauren Caminiti added four as the visiting Maidens (8-6, 6-1) claimed the Suburban One National Conference victory over the Indians (5-5, 4-3). Lauren McDermott added three goals for North Penn while Ali Herman had two goals and five assists.
