Matt Rewkowski scored four minutes and 18 seconds into overtime to give the New Jersey Pride a 17-16 victory over the Philadelphia Barrage Saturday night in a Major League Lacrosse regular-season finale at Hillsboro, Ore.

Despite the loss, the two-time defending champion Barrage (7-5) had already clinched the second and final Eastern Conference playoff berth. Philadelphia will take the fourth seed and play either Denver or Rochester in the MLL semifinals Aug. 23 in the NB Zip MLL Championship Weekend at Harvard Stadium.

The Barrage held a 7-1 lead early on and later a 10-7 halftime edge and still led, 14-12, early in the final quarter. But Chris Unterstein later tied the game, 16-16, with five minutes left in regulation.

Jed Prossner led the Barrage with four goals, including a two-pointer, and one assist. Matt Striebel also had four goals and added two assists while Ryan Boyle had a goal and three assists.
