Nazareth Area High School, Varsity Boy’s Lacrosse Head Coach

Varsity head coach needed for the 2014-2015 school year for an established high school lacrosse program. Previous experience as a varsity head coach in a successful program and experience as a college lacrosse player preferred.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Playing experience at the high school and college level.
• A proven track record at a high school level or above of motivating players to reach their potential and contribute to the team’s success.
• A solid foundation of lacrosse fundamentals and the ability to teach them through clear communication.
• A focus on the long-term growth of the program.
• An ability to command respect and enforce team discipline.
• An ability to provide mentorship to individual team members to reach their lacrosse goals during HS and beyond.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of managing the program, including, but not limited to, practice planning, game preparation/scouting, recruiting, and all other duties as assigned by the head coach. Specific emphasis will be placed on working with the team defense.
Qualifications

Skills, Abilities & Qualifications – Bachelor’s degree required. CPR, AED, and first aid certifications preferred. Valid driver’s license is required. Collegiate playing experience strongly preferred. Previous coaching experience at collegiate or high-school level is preferred. Ability to physically demonstrate sport-specific skills required. Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel for both games and recruiting is expected. Basic computer competency required. Good communications skills required. Compliance with NCAA Division III rules and regulations is required.

Ability to successfully complete a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug test.

Coaching-only positions with some logistical, conditioning, weightroom, film, and equipment responsibilities involved. We participate in fall and winter activities as well. Coaching staff will have the opportunity to attend local/national coaching conventions.

Wilson High School, Asst. Coach (Varsity/JV)

Wilson High School, in West Lawn, PA is searching for an outgoing assistant boys’ lacrosse coach to complete our coaching staff for the 2014-2015 season. Applicants should have prior college playing experience and strong lacrosse knowledge.

The Wilson School District has an enrollment of 1,900 students in grades 9-12 and competes in the Berks County Interscholastic Athletic League and the PIAA District 3. The Wilson School District has outstanding facilities including two newly completed turf stadiums. The program is competitive at the County, District and State level, having lost in the District 3 Finals and PIAA State Quarter Finals in 2013 & 2014. This year’s team returns a majority of its players. Wilson also runs a successful youth feeder program grades K-8.

The coach’s primary responsibilities are assisting with team and player development to continue Wilson’s rich athletic tradition of teaching, enforcing and modeling character traits through discipline, sportsmanship, and community involvement. This is a paid, coaching-only position. Experience with using Hudl, breaking down film and reviewing with the team are preferred but not required. Salary: competitive compensation based on experience.

Daniel Boone head coach

Daniel Boone Area High School, Birdsboro, PA (Berks County) has an opening for a boys lacrosse varsity head coach effective August 1, 2014. This is a developing program in need of the right candidate to help the team cultivate and execute a long term plan for success. The right applicant will have some coaching experience, an advanced lacrosse IQ and a love of the game.

Hempfield head coach

Hempfield High School, a member of the PIAA, PIAA District 3, and Lancaster-Lebanon League has an immediate opening for the head boys’ varsity head lacrosse coach. The Hempfield boys’ lacrosse program has a history being very competitive at the league, District 3 and PIAA level and has strong community-based and school support.
Qualifications: Interscholastic or collegiate coaching experience and extensive knowledge of the game of lacrosse. Playing experience preferred. Knowledge of PIAA and US Lacrosse rules.
Responsibilities include:

Haddon Twp HS, New Jersey, Assistant Coaches

Haddon Twp HS is seeking an Asst coach for the 2015 season. HT is in our 2nd year and will field both JV and Varsity teams with 15 returning players and at least 15 rising frosh players w 1+ years of experience. Players are participating in off season training and competition. 
 
Full staff will consist of 3 coaches. Our lacrosse board handles fundraising and club administration as well as development and management of feeder program. We have several outstanding experienced youth coaches working with our U15 & U13 teams. We are seeking an experience lacrosse coach with the passion and commitment to build a championship program and young men of character.  
 
We expect to have a coach in the building to handle team admin, communication, etc.
