Harriton Varsity Assistant Coach
The Harriton High School Boys’ Lacrosse team has an opening on its staff for an offensive coordinator, who will primarily work with the varsity squad. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to –
1. Teaching and developing all aspects of the offensive game;
2. Assisting the head coach in preparing practice plans;
3. Developing game plans with the head coach;
4. Scouting future opponents.
“Prior playing and coaching experience is required. This is a coaching-only position. The regular season begins in March, but we will have off-season activities, including conditioning, voluntary practices, and tournaments starting in September. Swarthmore College Assistant Men’s Coach/Strength and Conditioning Internship
Swarthmore College, a highly selective liberal arts college located 11 miles from Philadelphia, seeks an assistant men’s lacrosse coach / strength and conditioning intern to implement specific training programs that provide opportunity for improved strength, conditioning, speed and agility to athletes. Candidate will oversee workouts, supervise and teach strength techniques to student-athletes, work with sport coaches to develop individual programs with specific goals for athletes, assist sport coaches in development of off-season strength and conditioning programs, coordinate activities with the athletic training staff and team physicians, for required rehabilitative programs. Additional duties include teaching activities-based physical education classes. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. The Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Association SCCC certification or the National Strength and Conditioning Association CSCS certification is encouraged; Candidate should be Red Cross CPR and First Aid certification.
