Andy Hayes, the boys’ coach at Episcopal Academy and director of the Philly Showcase, served as the special guest on last week’s “Lax High” radio show co-hosted by Lacrosse Media owner and Phillylacrosse.com editor Chris Goldberg.

The show, also co-hosted by Ty Xanders of Inside Lacrosse, examined the success of the Philly Showcase and took a look at the high school recruiting scene and the Inter-Ac League. Goldberg and Xanders also looked back at some of the top high school boys’ and girls’ teams in the country from the 2011 season and took a little look ahead at the 2012 season.

The “Lax High” shows airs every other Thursday at 6:30 p.m. live on the Lacrosse Radio Network. This Thursday in that slot, “By the Book” will launch. The show is hosted by Radnor grad Booker Corrigan, a Baltimore club coach and play-by-play announcer for Kudda.com in the Baltimore area.
