The Philly Boys Showcase scheduled for November 19th and 20th at Episcopal Academy is FULL, but accepting wait list registrations. The Philly Boys Showcase attracts over 100 college programs, and last year was attended by 67% of all Division I programs and 88% of the 2011 NCAA Tournament field. The Philly Lacrosse Showcase provides a highly competitive environment for elite high school players aspiring to play college lacrosse. Each registrant is placed on a team, is guaranteed participation in three games over the course of the morning, and has a chance to be selected to play in one of the Gait Lacrosse “Fab Forty” All-Star games in the afternoon. Additionally, every team will be coached by a top high school coach who, over the course of the morning, will focus on teaching advanced concepts and techniques to every player.

The Philly Lacrosse Showcase is also designed to maximize each participant’s college exposure. With over 100 college coaches attending in 2010, and a similar number expected this year, the format maximizes exposure to college coaches while providing a high-level playing experience. Teams are capped at around 20 players in order to maximize each participant’s playing time.

The Philly Boys Showcase received over 1200 applications for spots in the Boys Showcase, surpassing capacity. Players that wish to participate who have not yet received registration instructions may place themselves on the Philly Boys Showcase Wait List at http://showcaselacrosse.com/2011boyswaitlist/. Last year the Philly Boys Showcase took approximately 50 players from the Wait List as registrants withdrew and the same number is expected to be replaced this year.

Rising Sophomores (2014s) and Juniors (2013s) will compete on Saturday the 19th; uncommitted Rising Seniors will be showcased on Sunday the 20th.
