The final Phillylacrosse.com Boys’ Rankings are based on overall record, wins against ranked teams and post-season success:
1. Haverford School (23-0) – The Fords are about to be anointed as National Champions by every media outlet after a perfect season that saw them win a third straight Inter-Ac League title and a third straight Inter-Ac Invitational. They have five Under Armour All-Americans and seven US Lacrosse All-Americans.
2. Conestoga (25-1) – The Pioneers – who lost only to Haverford School – won their second straight PIAA championship, third straight District 1 title and also won the Central League crown.
3. St. Joseph’s Prep (19-5) – The Hawks won the Catholic League title and advanced to the PIAA championship game.
4. Malvern Prep (14-6) – The Friars placed second in the Inter-Ac League and the Inter-Ac Invitational.
5. Central Bucks East (22-3) – The Patriots won the Suburban One Continental Conference ttle, advanced to the District 1 finals and reached the PIAA semifinals.
6. Downingtown West (20-3) – The Whippets finished third in District 1 and advanced to the PIAA tourney for the first time after winning their first outright Ches-Mont League championship.
7. Germantown Academy (14-5) – The Patriots placed third in the Inter-Ac League.
8. La Salle (14-6) – The Explorers defeated Connecticut state champion Wilton.
9. Penn Charter (12-11) – The Quakers reached the semifinals of the Inter-Ac Invitational.
10. Ridley (19-5) – The Green Raiders reached the PIAA tournament for the first time.
11. Pennsbury (15-9) – The Falcons finished fourth in the District 1 championships and qualified for the PIAA tourney for the time.
12. Avon Grove (17-4) – The Devils finished in a second-place tie in the Ches-Mont League and reached the District 1 quarterfinals.
13. Spring-Ford (20-4) – The Rams won the Pioneer Athletic Conference title and reached the District 1 quarterfinals.
14. Downingtown East (13-6) – The Cougars finished in a tie for second in the Ches-Mont League with a 9-2 record.
15. Garnet Valley (15-5) – The Jaguars finished second in the Central League with a 10-1 record.
16. Abington (15-6) – The Ghosts went undefeated in the Suburban One National Conference for the fourth straight year and advanced to the quarterfinals of the District 1 tourney.
17. Allentown Central Catholic (19-5) – The Vikings won the District 11 championship and had a win over No. 5 Central Bucks East.
18. Great Valley (15-5) – The Patriots finished fourth in the Ches-Mont League with an 8-3 record.
19. Emmaus (15-6) – The Hornets won the Lehigh Valley Conference championship.
20. Radnor (12-8) – The Red Raiders tied for third in the Central League with an 8-3 record.
21. Bishop Shanahan (14-5) – The Eagles advanced to the second round of District 1 play.
22. Springfield-Delco (11-8) – The Cougars advanced to the second round of District 1 play.
23. Penncrest (12-7) – The Lions finished 7-4 in the Central League.
24. Unionville (10-10) – The Indians advanced to the second round of the District 1 tournament.
25. Shipley School (16-3)- The Gators won their third straight Friends Schools League title and advanced to the second round of the Inter-Ac Invitational.
