Friday’s boys’ roundup: Conestoga routs Worthington-Kilbourne (Oh.); Wood, SJP, Shipley claim wins

Tyler Brooke, Connor Frisina and Tanner Scott each scored three goals to help host Conestoga rout Worthington-Kilbourne (Oh.) today in non-league boys’ lacrosse.

The Pioneers – ranked No. 2 in the EPN RISE Powerade Fab 50 and No. 2 in the PA media Rankings – remained undefeated at 6-0.

Archbishop Wood 16, Monsignor Bonner 1

Brian Butler had five goals and two assists and Chandler Grasela three goals to lead the Vikings to the easy Catholic League win.

St. Joseph’s Prep 12, Father Judge 1

Brad James and Pat Walsh each had two goals to lead The Prep to the Catholic League victory.

Shipley School 6, Chestnut Hill Academy 4

Mike Litner had two goals in the second half to break a 4-4 tie and lift the Gators to the non-league win

Julius Mouser led the attack with two goals and two assists while Mac Gallagher and Matt Gagnier each had a goal and an assist.

Long sticks Eric Loreaux, Steve Gentry, Will Todd, Luke Massengill, Mike Gagnier and short stick middies Jamie Piltch, Maz Obuz and Evan Romano led the Shipley defense and goalie Ian McGibbon came up with some big foiurth quarter saves, turning away nine shots in all.

George Washington 14, Audenried 0

Nick Dimartino collected six goals and an assist and Jason Link had two goals and two assists to pace GW to the Public League win.

Emmaus 17, Easton 7

Tyler Kennedy scored a game-high five goals while Dan Kinek and Zack Schleicher chipped in with four and three goals respectively, as Emmaus improved to 2-0 in the LVC. Joe Magargal made 10 saves.

Jeremy Swick scored four goals for Easton.

Parkland 15, Allen 3

Kurtis Kaunas had four goals and an assist to lead Parkland.
