Corrigan Sports Enterprises and Under Armour, Inc. announced today the dates and locations of tryouts for the 2011 Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic Underclassmen Tournament for each region.

The tournament has expanded to include two more teams – from the West and South – and now has 10 teams in all for boys and girls. The Games will be held the weekend of July 1st-3rd at Johnny Unitas Stadium on the campus of Towson University in Towson, Md.

This year’s 10 regions will include Philadelphia (Pennsylvania and Delaware), Baltimore, Long Island, Midwest, New England, New Jersey (N.J. and Delaware) , Upstate NY, South, Washington, D.C. and West.

The Philly boys’ team will be coached for the second year in a row by former Springfield-Delco coach Michael Friel. The Philly girls will also be coached by last year’s coach, Downingtown East’s Caitlin Barbakoff.

The Philly boys’ trouts are June 13-14 at Radnor High (5-8 pm); the girls also will have tryouts at Radnor (5-8 p.m.) on June 15-16.

All boys and girls in the graduating classes of 2012, 2013, and 2014 are eligible to tryout and receive the opportunity to be one of the 24 players selected by a panel of coaching experts to represent their region. All participants will receive an Under Armour event shirt, an event reversible, a subscription to Inside Lacrosse magazine, as well as an in-depth biography page in the college coaches’ recruiting booklet. College coaches will attend tryouts and the tournament.
