Last week, 116 Philadelphia lacrosse supporters participated in the 18th annual Philadelphia Lacrosse Association Golf Outing Monday at Philmont Country Club in Huntingdon Valley and helped raise approximately $17,000 to build new lacrosse programs in the region.
Money raised will, among other things, support new lacrosse programs in Southeastern Pennsylvania and help underwrite the PLA’s joint initiatives with the Philadelphia School District in connection with the middle grades program and Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association-sanctioned lacrosse at the high school level.
