The LB3 boys’ club will hold its team tryouts on Sunday, October 3 and Sunday, Oct. 10 at St. Alphonsus School in Maple Glen.

The tryout schedule is the following: U13, U15 and 9th grade tryout will be held from 2-4 p.m. each day and teams for grades 10-through-12 will be held from 4-to-6 p.m. Candidates must attend both sessions.

Those interested in trying out must e-mail LB3 at lb3lacrosee@gmail.com with the following player information: position, age and school.

Dynamite Lacrosse Club tryouts

The tryouts for Dynamite Lacrosse Club 2011 Summer Tournament Teams at the field behind the Limerick Township building (646 W. Ridley Pike) are as follows:
September 26th
2012 & 2013 – 1:00 to 2:30pm
2014 & 2015 – 2:30 to 4:00pm
2016 & 2017 – 4:00 to 5:30pm
October 3rd
2016 & 2017 – 1:00 to 2:30pm
2014 & 2015 – 2:30 to 4:00pm
2012 & 2013 – 4:00 to 5:30pm

The tryout fee is $25 for both sessions or $15 for an individual session. It is recommended that candidates attend both if possible.

Lehigh hosting fall clinics for “Shooter and Stopper”

The Mountain Hawk “Shooter and Stopper’ Fall Lacrosse Clinic will be held over four Sundays, starting Oct. 10, for boys in grades 5-through-12, at Lehigh University.

The clinics are being coached by the Lehigh Lacrosse Program, at the Goodman Athletic Campus. The directors are coaches Dan Keating and Brendan Callahan. The focus is on shooting and goaltending. Times: 5th-8th Grades, 10:00-11:15 a.m.; 9th-12th Grades noon-1:15 p.m.
