Recent Penncrest graduate Mike Baldassare (defenseman) has committed to play Division III lacrosse at King’s College this year.
Baldassare was a Second Team Central League pick in 2010 for a Lions team thatwent 12-7 and advanced to the second round of the District 1 playoffs.
Baldassare will join five Philly recruits at King’s: Pennsbury attackman Justin Merola, Springfield-Delco face-off specialist Billy McCullough, Perkiomen Valley midfielder T.J. Tagg, Spring-Ford midfielder Carl Santoro and Avon Grove face-off specialist Bobby Benditt.
Also, Recent Interboro grad Vince Latham (midfielder) has committed to Elizabethtown. Latham was a four-year letter-winner for the Bucs and played club lacrosse for Black Bear Delco.
Latham will join teammate Adam Moore (goalie) at Elizabethtown. Other Philly recruits headed to Elizabethtown include Ridley defenseman Casey Decker, Phoenixville goalie Josh Frey and Bayard Rustin midfielder Tim Shaw.
