From Press Release
With the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championships being held at Lincoln Financial Field this Memorial Day Weekend, the HEADstrong Foundation™ (HF™) will host a complimentary suite so that cancer patients and their families from the region can escape the realities that they are facing and enjoy the festivities and atmosphere.
Earlier this year the organization began providing once in a lifetime experiences and outlets of entertainment to patients and families who have been affected by the disease through the HEADline Project. Sporting events, concerts, trips and other performances are offered to patients through this new project.
Most recently, HF™ provided passes to the ACC Men’s Lacrosse Championships at PPL Park in Chester, PA to a young patient currently undergoing cancer treatment at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Additionally, HEADstrong helped to facilitate a once in a lifetime meet and greet with the Syracuse University’s men’s lacrosse team in wake of them capturing the ACC title.
“Providing ways of helping both patients and their families sustain normalcy during their battle with cancer is our upmost priority. We pride ourselves on working directly with families throughout the country to identify ways that we can improve their quality of life. Our new HEADline Project provides a much needed quality time, a change of scenery, a temporary escape from the realities these families are living and an experience that brings smiles to those who need it most.” – says Cheryl Colleluori, HF President and Nick’s Mom
The NCAA, ACC, Evolve IP and Wilks Broadcast Group, LLC are just a few of the organizations and companies who have been instrumental in supporting the HEADline Project. Through this new project corporations have the ability to donate experiences and event tickets with HEADstrong coordinating the recipients.
“This is an incredible time for the HEADstrong Foundation as we are strengthening our commitment to those affected by cancer, maintaining and fostering relationships with medical facilities throughout the country, building partnerships with companies who are executing our services and allowing us the ability to advance our mission in the most efficient manner. We are building on our promise to Nick with a clear understanding of how we best serve others and doing it with a relentless passion that captivates and inspires all.” says Colleluori
If you or your company is interested in contributing special event tickets or an experience through the HEADline Project please contact HEADstrong CMO and Nick’s Brother Pat Colleluori at Pat@HEADstrong.org.
