Wilson West Lawn 2016 goalie Jason Roland has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at St. Joseph’s University.

Business

Why did you choose school? “I chose St. Joseph’s because of its great academic reputation, the location of the University, and I like what Coach (Taylor) Wray and his staff are doing with the program.”

Outlook for your High School team?
“We have a lot of good returning starters from last year, and we are looking to win a District 3 title and make a run in the state playoffs.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank my parents for supporting me through the process and for driving me to all my practices and tournaments. I would also like to thank Coach Banks and OMB at Phillie Elite for helping me with the recruiting process and for pushing me to become a better goalie. Thanks to Coach Wimer, Coach Espenshade, and Coach Nicodemi at Low and Away for helping me with the recruiting process and helping me become a better goalie.
