What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose the school? I chose the University of Michigan for many reasons. First and foremost, I wanted to make sure that I would get a good education and be given the opportunity to succeed, and I knew that Michigan would give me the resources and opportunities to do just that, and more. From the moment I stepped on campus I loved the atmosphere and the feeling that I got from the school. I really enjoyed the ‘Big school feel’ with the large athletics and incredible school spirit. Coach (John) Paul, Coach (Ryan) Danehy, and the rest of the Michigan lacrosse coaching staff really made me feel like I was at home. I feel that they are doing great things with the program and that they are building an incredible tradition. I also enjoy the idea of being part of a newer program, being able to help build it up, and hopefully competing for a National Championship.”

What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season?
“This past season our team was strong and had many talented seniors. We won our conference championship and competed in district playoffs. This coming season we are going to be a very young team, having lost many seniors. Our team seems much more dedicated and hard working and we’re looking forward to rebuilding. I’m hoping we can repeat our conference championship for the 4th year in a row and compete again in district playoffs.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank my High school coaches, Kevin Donnelly and Kevin Czapor, for helping me to progress as a player and for helping me through my process. I would also like to thank Coach Ebe Helm, Coach Jason Christmas, and the rest of the Duke’s LC and the HHH coaching staff for giving me the opportunity to play at the next level and for their help and support. Thanks to all of my Collegeville Cougars youth coaches for teaching me the game and helping me to develop a love for it. I would also like to give a special thanks to my face off coach, Mike Dolente, for teaching me almost everything I know about facing off and for pushing me to take my game to a new level. Finally and most importantly, I would like to thank my family for all of their support, help, and excitement for me throughout my lacrosse career.”

Other schools considered? Lehigh, Penn State, Ohio State, Princeton, Notre Dame
