Bishop Shanahan junior goalie Sam Gindhart has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Fairfield University.

What will you major in/study? Undecided
Why did you choose the school? “Fairfield had everything I wanted in a university. I had a great connection with the coaching staff and believe in their program. Academically, Fairfield will provide me with an outstanding education in a beautiful location.”
What is your team’s outlook for next season? “Shanahan’s team looks great going into the season. We are coming off of the Ches-Mont League (quad-championship) win and a few playoff wins. This coming season will be one of the best in the school’s history. We have a lot of seniors that will help lead our team further into state playoffs.”
