Longstreth girls’ recruit: Shipley 2015 goalkeeper Kothari commits to Michigan

The Shipley School junior goalkeeper Alli Kothari has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Michigan.

Position: Goalkeeper

College Choice: University of Michigan

Club Affiliation: Phantastix

Major lacrosse honors: National Team, Under Armour Team, 1st team All-Friends League, 1st team All-Main Line, School record for saves in a game (20)

What will you major in/study? Undecided, Social Work or Pre-Law

Why did you choose Michigan? “It is a feeling thing…as soon as I walked on the campus I knew that was where I wanted to go.”

What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season? “Last season we were very young, but progressively built throughout the season. This year looks hopeful.”
