Why did you choose school: “I am very excited to be part of a new D1 program. Coach (Brian) Fisher and Coach (Andrew) Geison have a great vision for the program, I also like the size and flow of the campus. The five year MBA program is in line with my academic goals. Being near the beach is a great feature of the school too.”

Outlook for your high school team in 2014: “Although we graduated a bunch of key players, we return most of our starters and bring in a lot of young talent. Our main goal is to win our fourth straight state championship and remain a nationally recognized team next year (21st in the country in 2013).”

Other comments: “I would like to thank my parents (Lyn and Dan) for all of their support; my little brother, RJ; All of my friends for their positive influences; Duke’s LC coaches (Ebe Helm, Jason Christmas and John Christmas) for the opportunity to play for the best club program out there; Wilmington Wings Youth program (Coach Cobb, Skip, and Carroll Spiker); and Salesianum coaches (Healy and Plews) for pushing me to the best of my abilities; and lastly, Dan Decklebaum, who helps me in the weight room and on the field.”
