From Press Release

Former Lehigh standouts Ryan Snyder (Reading native, Duke’s LC) and Mike Noone (La Salle) were recently picked up by Major League Lacrosse teams, Snyder joining the first-place Denver Outlaws and Noone heading to the Ohio Machine.

Snyder has been added to the active roster and will back up Anthony Kelly at the faceoff X while Noone is on Ohio’s practice squad, but could join the active roster at a moment’s notice.

The duo joins several former Mountain Hawks in Major League Lacrosse. Cameron and Roman Lao-Gosney have each played in six of Hamilton’s seven games, helping the Nationals to a 5-2 record and second-place in the league standings. David DiMaria has played two games for the Boston Cannons while Dante Fantoni (Denver) and Noah Molnar (Rochester) were selected in January’s Collegiate Draft, but haven’t seen action.

Snyder wrapped up his collegiate career as a three-time All-Patriot League honoree, winning 52.6 percent of his faceoffs (473-of-899) with 313 groundballs (second in league history). Snyder was a First Team All-Patriot League honoree as a sophomore when he won 61.6 percent of his draws (173-of-281) with 118 groundballs. Snyder also owns 11 career points behind eight goals and three assists. He was named a Scholar All-American by the USILA and was a candidate for the Senior CLASS Award.

Noone was named to the All-Patriot League Team in each of the last two seasons, including First Team laurels this season. He also garnered honorable mention All-America recognition. Noone finished the season with 33 groundballs and a team-high 26 caused turnovers to finish his career with 104 and 71, respectively.

he Jenkintown native enjoyed a monster game vs. #18 Penn in March with five groundballs and a career-high six caused turnovers. He is a four-time Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week, including this season following three groundballs and three caused turnovers against Colgate. Noone has been an integral part of a Lehigh defense ranked in the top nationally each of the last two seasons.

Snyder and Noone were also two of a program-record four Mountain Hawks (along with DiMaria and Fantoni) to play in the USILA North-South Game in May.

Lehigh wrapped up its second straight Patriot League Championship and NCAA Tournament campaign with a 12-5 record, becoming the first team in the league with back-to-back championships since Navy six years ago.
