Seniors Tori Dugan (Bayard Rustin) and Theresa Giunta (Henderson) were repeat All-America honorees as the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches’ Association announced its 2013 first- and second-team All-America squads Thursday afternoon.

Dugan, who was a first team pick in 2012, repeated on the first team while Giunta, who was a first-teamer in 2012, was selected to the second team All-America squad.

Dugan capped off her senior year with four points (2G, 2A) in the PSAC Championship Game win against Lock Haven University recently. Dugan finished the season leading the team in points with 77 points (38G, 39A) and ranked fifth in the PSAC with 2.00 assists per game, along with listing seventh in goals per game with 4.00. She also led the team with 122 draw controls, averaging 6.42 per game, which placed her second in the PSAC.

Dugan finished her career at West Chester with 138 goals and 92 assists for a total of 230 points in 60 games from 2011 to 2013. She secured 302 draw controls, setting the school’s single-season record with 134 in 2011, and establishing the school’s all-time record her senior year. Dugan also posted season bests in both ground balls (52) and caused turnovers (14).

Giunta was a big part of the defense for West Chester this year. She finished fifth on the team in points with 25 (17G, 8A). However, she finished second on the team in draw controls with 38. Giunta played in 81 games for the Golden Rams over the past four years, scoring 41 goals and 20 assists for 60 career points.
