Live blog of Inter-Ac Invitational title game: Haverford School 13, Malvern Prep 11 (FINAL

We are here at Cabrini College in Radnor, Pa., for the Inter-Ac Invitational championship game between top-seeded and top-ranked Malvern Prep (16-1) and third-seeded and fourth-ranked Haverford School (14-7).

The weather is sunny and warm and the crowd is filled to capacity to watch these two rivals. A new champion will be crowned since Haverford toppled defending champion Episcopal Academy, 9-8, in the semis on Monday. Malvern advanced with an 11-7 victory over Lawrenceville School. Malvern won the two regular-season games over the Fords, 13-7, and 13-10.

Game time is 7 p.m.

First Quarter

HS – Haverford strikes first as Timmy Brooks scores from Peter Blynn, 9:08 left in 1st

MP – Joe Dunn scores for the Friars to tie it, 1-1 – 5:53 to go

MP – Eddie McLoughlin from Conor Glancy and Malvern leads 2-1, 3:22 to play in 1st

HS – Jeff Odiorne scores unassisted for @Fords_Lacrosse to tie it, 1:51 left in 1st

MP – Conor Glancy puts Friars back up, 3-2 with 26.1 secs to play in 1st
