Caleigh Foust capped a brilliant week by scoring seven goals and hitting 200 in her career Saturday in leading Harriton to a 21-10 victory over Notre Dame Academy in the 5th Annual Nike Checking for Cancer Lacrosse Invitational at Haverford School.
Foust, who had eight goals Thursday in a key Central League win over Conestoga, also had four draw controls and an assist as the Rams improved to 7-1.
Katie Melvin had three goals and four assists while Sabrina Tabasso had two goals, three assists and nine draw controls. Maura Henderson contributed three goals and two draw controls and Jane Henderson added three goals and an assist.
Delaney Tuite led Notre Dame with five goals and Katoie Schneider had three goals and an assist while Nora McCallion had two goals and an assist.
Downingtown East 13, Merion Mercy 8
Haleigh Wurzel was a standout with 18 saves while Nicole Barretta (seven goals) and Caroline Ambrogi (four goals) paced the offense for the Cougars at the Checking for Cancer Invitational.
Juls D’Orazio led the Bears with three goals and Olivia Nostrant had two while Cassidy Guilday had a goal and three assists.
Conestoga 13, Manheim Township 8
Meghan McGillis, Megan Cameron and Catie Smith had three goals apiece to lead the Pioneers (6-1) past the Blue Streaks.
Mackenzie Orr and Claire Jackson added two goals apiece.
Molly Hendrick led the Blue Streaks (7-3) with six goals.
Germantown Academy 16, Villa Maria 9
Cooper Hall had five goals, Hanna Bogorwoski four and Jennifer Stack three for the Patriots (5-4) in the non-league win.
Villa Maria (5-4) was led by Megan Parsons (three goals, one assist and two draw controls), Catherine Bendinelli (two goals, one assist).
