High School: Garnet Valley

Graduation Year: 2014

Position: Midfield

College Choice: Mercer University

Club Affiliation: Brandywine Majors

Major lacrosse honors: Starter on two-time PIAA State Champion and undefeated Central League Champion, 2012; Philly Showcase FAB 40 All-Star, 2012

What will you major in/study? Pre – Med

Why did you choose Mercer? “Coach (Eve) Levinson played lacrosse at Penn and understands the challenge of balancing Division I lacrosse and demanding academic courses.

“Mercer offers me the opportunity to compete at the highest level of lacrosse and pursue my dream of being in the medical profession. The new state of the art lacrosse stadium and field house are amazing and the campus is beautiful. Mercer is the perfect fit for me on and off the field so I am very excited to be a Mercer Bear!”

Outlook for your High School team? “Our entire coaching staff left to pursue new opportunities and we graduated a very strong class so our young team will have its work cut out for us defending back to back State Titles.

“The returning players learned so much practicing with the 2012 class and gained valuable experience on the field during the season and especially in the playoffs.

“We have played together for a long time for school and club, and we believe in one another and look forward to the challenge together.”

Additional Comments: “Both of my parents have been so supportive and have dedicated so much time to help me choose the school that’s right for me. I would like to thank my Mom who has coached me since 3rd grade and also Christyann Morello who has guided me through the recruiting process.

“I would also like to thank my previous high school coaches, Kate Henwood and Amanda Kammes, for pushing me to become a better lacrosse player. Finally, a big thank you to my Brandywine Majors teammates who have made playing lacrosse such an amazing experience for me.”

Other schools considered: Stanford, Denver
