North Penn junior defender Ashley Durham has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Old Dominion University.

What will you major in/study? Exercise Science
Why did you choose ODU? “I chose Old Dominion because they have one of the best exercise science programs. I also chose ODU because as soon as I walked on the campus I fell in love. When I met the coaches and players they made me feel like I was a part of the team and wanted me to be there as much as I wanted to be there!”
What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “Well we are a fairly young team but we are very optimistic of improving and becoming a stronger, better team!”
Additional Comments: “I would like to thank my high school coach Jami Wilus for pushing me since 9th grade to become a better player. I would also like to thank my Dad, Grandparents, Coach Larry and Coach Duckenfield for giving me words of wisdom and helping me through the rough times!
“I would really like to thank my Mom the most. She has been my #1 cheerleader since the day I picked up my lacrosse stick. She has been the best supporter a girl could ask for!
“Also my teammates for pushing me and helping me to becoming a better player and giving me some of the best memories I’ll never forget!”
