ReQRuitme boys’ recruit: Lehigh gets commitment from Dallas Jesuit (TX) junior midfielder Belland

Dallas Jesuit (TX) junior midfielder Lee Belland has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Lehigh University.

College Choice: Lehigh University

Position: Midfield

Club Team: Iron Horse

Lacrosse Honors: Sophomore year, named Division I First Team All-District and “2014 Texas Heat Elite” as one of the top ten players in the state of Texas. Freshman year, named varsity “Rookie of the Year” on the Division I State Championship finalist team and defensive MVP of the football team. Summer 2012, attended Jake Reed’s Nike Blue Chip, Baltimore Summer Kickoff, King of the Hill All-Star and T-99.

Academic Honors: Honor Roll all years at Jesuit

What do you plan to major in/study? Finance and business

What is your HS team’s outlook for this year? “Preseason ranking of #1 in the State and attempting to win Jesuit’s first ever State Championship.”

Who would like to thank for helping you get to play college lacrosse? “My parents, Coach Chris Surran, my club and head coach, and all the other coaches who have helped me develop as a person and player.”
