Avon Grove junior defenseman Danny Norris has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Lehigh University.

What will you major in/study? One of Lehigh’s integrated business and engineering programs
Why did you choose the Lehigh? “It was the right fit. Lehigh had the academics that I wanted and also an extremely competitive lacrosse program with great coaches and facilities.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “Our team has extremely high expectations. We surprised a lot of teams last year with a core of sophomores. Each of us worked hard in the off season with a shared goal to contend for the Ches-Mont title this year.”
Other comments: “A big thank you to Coach Ebe Helm and all of the other coaches at Duke’s that put me on the map and opened so many doors for me; My high school coaches, Eric Jackson and Brian Wallace, for helping and connecting me with a lot of good people; and Avon Grove Wildcats Lacrosse, all of my youth coaches that taught me the fundamentals (Bill Cook, Matt Shreiner, John Shaw).
