Rising Sons win 5th-6th Grade championship at iced Chocolate Shootout

The Pottstown-based Rising Sons recently won the 5th-6th Grade Championship of the Iced Chocolate Shootout in Palmyra by defeating the Lehigh Valley Skyhawks, 13-2.

The Rising Sons dominated the competition, finishing 5-0 overall. Members of the winning squad were Champ Doyle, Eric Spanos, Collin Pettine, Evan Lotz, Drew Lopolitto, Kyle Gucwa, Colin Gucwa, Brady McFalls, Sage Garrito, Connor Whalen, Connor Donovan, and Kyle Golden. The team was coached by Tad Doyle and Kris Gucwa.

The event, held just outside Hersehy, was run by MyLacrosseTournaments.
