Spring-Ford senior defender Erin Mensch has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at York College.

What will you major in/study? Nursing
Why did you choose York? “After visiting many schools I realized York was the perfect mix of academics and athletics for me. I was very impressed with Coach (Jen) Muston from the very beginning as she has built York into one of the top DIII programs. I was also impressed with Yorks nursing program and facilities.”
Outlook for your High School team? “Although we lost a few key players from last year’s team, we have many returning varsity starters back along with some new talent that will make an impact on our season. I have not doubt that we have the talent and determination to again compete for the PAC 10 Championship and a spot in the District 1 playoffs.”
Additional comments: “I would like to start off by thanking my family for all their love and support. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without them. I would also like to thank Maureen Burger of Dynamite for introducing me to the game that I love and coaching me for many years.
