Registration still open for NXTsports Cradle Lacrosse & Trashcan Lacrosse Co-Ed Youth programs starting this weekend

Cradle Lacrosse, NXTsports’ educational program for 4-to-8 year old lacrosse players, is holding several winter sessions beginning this weekend.

Cradle Lacrosse is designed to teach basic lacrosse skills to our youngest players in a fun, energizing and supportive environment. All equipment is provided for the kids, there is nothing for parents to buy, and the curriculum is designed to teach the basics of lacrosse to youngsters in an age-appropriate and fun way. Over 500 kids have participated in Cradle Lacrosse over the last year.

Six-week Winter Cradle Lacrosse sessions start this weekend at:

United Sports Training Center, Downingtown, PA. For boys and girls age 4-8. Running January 5-February 9, Saturdays from 10-11am. Six-week session begins Saturday, January 5.

Episcopal Academy, Newtown Square, PA. For boys and girls age 4-8. Running January 6-January 27, Sundays from 10:30-11:30am. Four-week session begins Sunday, January 6. (VERY LIMITED SPACE REMAINING)

Germantown Friends School, Philadelphia, PA. For boys and girls age 4-8. Running January 6-February 10, Sundays from 2-3pm. Six-week session begins Sunday, January 6.

There is limited space still available in all three sessions. All participants will receive a free Cradle Lacrosse shirt. If you can’t make every session pro-rated rates are available. Additional information and registration details are available at CradleLacrosse.com.

NXTsports’ Trashcan Lacrosse Winter Programs for Second Grade through Eighth Grade Boys Begin this Weekend in Newtown Square & Downingtown

NXTsports’ highly popular Trashcan Lacrosse Winter Training Program for second-through-eighth grade boys also starts back up this weekend at Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square, and launches for the first time at United Sports in Downingtown.

Both Trashcan Lacrosse Winter Programs run for four weekends and focus on the fundamental skills necessary for future success at higher levels of play. The Trashcan Winter Program curriculum features innovative drills, progressive skill work, as well as a lot of Trashcan Lacrosse competitions designed to put the FUN in fundamentals.

The Winter Program at Episcopal runs four Sundays, from January 6-January 27, in the spacious Episcopal Academy Fieldhouse. The players are divided into the following age based sessions:

• Session 1 – 11:30am-1pm – Second & Third Graders
• Session 2 – 1pm-2:30pm – Fourth & Fifth Graders
• Session 3 – 2:30pm-4pm – Sixth, Seventh & Eighth Graders

The Winter Program at United Sports runs four Sundays, from January 6-January 27, inside United Sport’s indoor complex. The players are divided into the following age based sessions:

• Session 1 – 9:30am-11am – Second & Third Graders
• Session 2 – 11am-12:30pm – Fourth & Fifth Graders
• Session 3 – 12:30pm-2pm – Sixth, Seventh & Eighth Graders
