Drexel senior Brendan Glynn (St. Joseph’s Prep) has been discharged from the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania and transferred to Bryn Mawr rehab, hospital officials said.

Glynn has been recovering well since suffering injuries to his head, jaw, leg, and other areas and had undergone a number of surgeries, a family friend told Phillylacrosse.com.

Glynn, 22, was hit by a car at the corner of 36th and Chestnut streets in Philadelphia on Dec. 9, just before 2 a.m., police said.

Glynn, an attackman from Villanova, had 26 goals and 11 assists last year after notching 23 goals as a sophomore and four as a freshman.

He was an All-Catholic League and All-EPSLA pick as well as a Third-Team All-Phillylacrosse.com selection as a senior when he was named the Catholic League Southern Division MVP.

He finished his career as the leading scorer in St. Joseph’s Prep history.
