Maple Zone boys’ recruit: Germantown Academy senior defenseman Sawyer commits to Scranton

Germantown Academy senior defenseman Pat Sawyer has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Scranton University.

Major lacrosse honors: 3 year letter winner, NSCLA All-Star, Blue Chip 225 All-Star

Academic honors: Distinguish Honor Roll

What will you major in/study? Business

Why did you choose the school? “It was a good fit for me with lacrosse, school, and fun. Coach (Doug) Sage seems to have a promising future that I couldn’t say no to being a part of.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next season?
“We are returning are whole defense that will help our team stay competitive and if we find a couple young guys who can step up and put the ball in the net. There is no reason why we cant win the Inter-Ac this year.”
